This book was good, but I think the author could have delved into a little more history and some more of the philosophical aspects of tai kwon do..

\"Taekwondo: Ancient Wisdom for the Modern Warrior\" by Doug Cook is a refreshing change from most books on this Korean martial art, in that it does not focus on techniques, but rather the philosophy and mental aspects that are so important, but often overlooked, when striving for the performance of an excellent kick.
